Lisa Marie Clifford, Ph.D.
Dr. Lisa M. Clifford is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology in the College of Public Health and Health Professions at the University of Florida. Dr. Clifford received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2010. She completed her internship and a T32 research fellowship in Child Behavior and Nutrition at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Clifford’s primary research interest is in the translation and dissemination of culturally-relevant interventions to decrease obesity-related health disparities among vulnerable and diverse populations. Additional research interests include understanding biobehavioral and neurocognitive mechanisms by which environmental factors influence the risk for obesity and medical comorbidities across child development.
